I got a call this afternoon from my theater peeps at the KC with some terrible news about someone I had worked with down there. Not only was I touched and saddened because of the news, but I realized that I had been a part of their team. A true member of their team, to the point where they felt it was important to call me and let me know. I wasn't just someone who came and went without leaving an impression. I miss that. I miss them. And I'm sad because of the news.

It's been a hard week.
